Megacable disburses 24 million dollars in the initial stage of its data center

Megacable Holdings turned its telecommunications business by betting on a new niche of high specialization and technology: a Data Center in which it invested 25 million dollars in its initial stage, with a view to allocating 10 million more once the business consolidates. The Megacable Data Center, located in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, seeks to offer services oriented to companies of any size that need facilities to keep their information and computer equipment safe.

Telcos Tata, Sparkle, PCCW, Colt join forces in blockchain test for interoperability

Tata Communications, TI Sparkle, PCCW Global, and Colt are working with technology vendors Accedian, Amartus and Clear on a blockchain proof of concept (PoC) for on-demand services. The PoC is to demonstrate blockchain’s ability to deliver on-demand services across multiple geographies while ensuring the immutability of data shared between the mobile service providers. The initiative is being run under the ongoing MEF 2019 event for carriers in California.

Tata Communications has announced it is working with Microsoft to help speed up the development of new innovative connected car applications. By combining the IoT connectivity and network intelligence capabilities of Tata Communications’ “MOVEa platform with Microsoft’s “Connected Vehicle Platform”, the companies will enable automotive manufacturers to offer consumers seamless and secure driving experiences.
