MDC Newsroom

29 Jan, 2020 1 minute

MDC is excited to attend The North American Network Operators’ Group’s first meeting of the year, NANOG 78.

This will mark the 10th NANOG meet for MDC and we invite you to connect with our team during the Peering Coordination Forum to learn and discuss more about our favorite subject: peering solutions focused on Mexico.

While peering continues to be a popular subject at NANOG conferences, peering and internet exchange topic experts make up a very small minority of attendees. A survey from NANOG 77 by Martin Hannigan, founder of DeepEdge, demonstrated how only 3.7% of attendees represented an IXP. Out of the 19 organizations that participated in the Peering Coordination Forum only MDC Data Centers focused on peering with Mexican carriers.

Meet with MDC at the Peering Coordination forum table 20 to learn more about:

  • Network infrastructure in Mexico
  • Status of Peering in Mexico
  • Benefits and advantages of the MEX-IX
